NEW YORK CITY, the city that never sleeps (part 2)
This city is known for many nicknames. Big Apple, City of Carrie Bradshaw or the city that never sleeps are just a few of its nicknames. Do you know more ways how to call New York City? Which one fits the most? Well, it depends on you. Everyone sees New York City in a different way. Somebody sees NYC like a big noisy city with traffic every hour of the day. Other one knows this city like the city of possibilities and new beginnings. What about you? What is your point of view of New York City?
TIMES SQUARE
Is the most famous square in the USA. If you have ever seen any American movie from New York, I am sure you saw some shots from Times Square. It is full of billboards with commercials and full of shops. You should definitely visit this place at night!
It is one of the things you have to see while your visit, even though it was smaller than I expected.

BROOKLYN BRIDGE
This bridge was built in the 19th century. In this century was Brooklyn autonomous city. It is located on the East River. It is about 500 meters long but even this long distance it is a nice walk across. So take comfortable shoes because you will walk a lot!
I would say that it is better if you visit this place early in the morning and then during the evening or night to escape the masses of tourists.

STATEN ISLAND AND STATUE OF LIBERTY
Statue of Liberty is a Statue that gave France to the USA. It is located on its own little island. You can go there with the Tourists boats or if you prefer not to spend money or not spend that much time, you can also go with Staten Island Ferry. It is for free and it takes you to Staten Island around the Statue of Liberty. I did not have that much time to visit the Island because I was in NYC only for a few days and I wanted to see as much as possible. Going with the Staten Island Ferry saved me some time and I was still able to see the Statue of Liberty.

IS THERE SOMETHING MORE TO SEE?
New York City is full of things to see. You won´t have time to visit them all at once.
You shouldn´t miss China town and Little Italy, Coney Island for relaxing on the beach or Broadway.
One of the best times to go to NYC is the 4th of July – Independence Day. Well if you like to be in one place with many people. The city is full of people who are celebrating and at night you can see amazing fireworks on East River. The best way to see the true face of busy NYC.

TRANSPORT IN NEW YORK?
The easiest way how to cross New York City is with a taxi. Who didn´t want to try to stop the typical yellow taxi like Carry does? But the problem is that if the driver sees that you are tourist he takes you a long way and you pay more. So turn on GPS on your phone or just take the metro. Once in your life, you have to try to go by New York´s metro. Is it hectic? Yes, it is! It is experienced for all life. Just imagine: some random singer is singing some song you maybe don´t know, you listen and meanwhile, masses of people are passing you. To not get lost, just see the colour, letter or number and the final stop of your line. Also, see if you go to Uptown or Downtown.
If you don´t like metro or taxi you can also walk. It is nice to see all the streets and walk around the river. If you choose this way of “transport” you will walk a lot. Trust me, I know about what I am talking. But you can´t get by foot to every part of the city.

HOW TO GET TO THE AIRPORT KENNEDY?
Take the metro, the blue line. Go with line E with direction to Jamaica Center. The penultimate stop is your stop (Sutphin Blvd, JFK Airport). Here you change for a train and pay attention which stop is yours – every terminal is a stop.

The best way how to enjoy this city is to go out at night. This city never sleeps and you can see that. There are the same traffic and noise as during the day. Somebody would say that it makes this city bad but I say it makes the atmosphere of New York. New York wouldn´t be New York without big traffic and many people in one place.
Did I like this city? Well depends. I like more natural and small towns. I loved NYC to visit but I can´t imagine living there. I just think I am not made for this. But who knows, people change. But I would love to visit this place once again and see more.
